A simple and modern website for world renowned product designer John Tree.

Rosie Lee were appointed to help define a new brand identity and website for product designer John Tree. John’s vision was to create ‘a simple and modern website with the product as the hero’, one that would present his past and current design portfolio as the main focus.

The concept was to create a website that features an extensive body of work with a minimalist, user-friendly approach.

We designed a unique menu tool that indexes all the product using ordered thumbnail images. The user experience takes on the style of a blog format, where products are listed on one page.

The visual identity comprises a typeface is that is bold, clean and modern with highly considered details to reflect John’s approach to design. The bright green is a nod to his non-typical yet understated approach, with a thin line as a finishing detail to each segment of information.
